6 whole of egg

1 1/2 cups (c) of granulated sugar

1 teaspoon (tsp) of lemon extract

1 tablespoon (tbsp) of lemon juice

1 tablespoon (tbsp) of aniseed

3/4 cup (c) of melted vegetable shortening

5 cups (c) of flour

1/4 cup (c) of honey

1 teaspoon (tsp) of anise extract

1 tablespoon (tbsp) of orange juice
In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, and anise seeds.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.
Beat the eggs separately, then add them to the well along with the lemon extract (or lemon juice), honey, anise extract, orange juice, and melted shortening.
Mix everything thoroughly and knead until the dough is smooth.
